2025 CIOE Ends: TOPLITE – A Hall Hotspot with Crowds, Acclaimed VR/AR & New Products, Paving Way for New DealsIssuing time:2025-09-12 17:09 Today, the three-day 2025 China International Optoelectronic Expo (CIOE) officially came to an end. This year’s expo saw attendance double compared to last year, and TOPLITE’s booth stood out as a true "foot traffic hub" in Hall 2 – packed with inquiring visitors, leaving our team barely enough time to attend to everyone. What’s more, professional overseas visitors made a special trip to our booth, and professional industry media outlets took the initiative to conduct interviews. The overwhelming enthusiasm and recognition made these three days exceptionally meaningful. Open-Source VR/AR Solutions Make a Dazzling Debut, Taking the Expo by Storm on Day 1 On the first day of the expo, as soon as our reception team arrived at the booth – even before the equipment was fully calibrated – visitors swarmed over, asking: "How can this open-source VR optical engine be so lightweight?" "Is it really $100 USD per unit with 6DOF support?" "Does it use an OLED screen?" "Why is this AR optical engine so affordable?" "It’s really clear and lightweight!" The banner poster at our booth acted like a powerful magnet, drawing a steady stream of visitors from the moment the expo opened. Our experience area instantly became a red-hot spot, with a circle of people waiting to try out the products and ask questions. Our reception team, still tired from the traffic jam on the way to the expo, immediately dived into communicating with the visitors. Booth Unexpectedly Teems with Visitors: A Pleasant Rush of Inquiries “As soon as we saw off one group of visitors, three more crowded around— I didn’t even get a chance to sip water!” a member of our reception team said, wiping sweat off their forehead during lunch, but there was a grin in their voice. This was no overstatement: since the expo opened on day one, our booth was packed to the brim. The experience zone was surrounded by layers of people, so visitors gladly lined up for a turn; every seat in the negotiation area was occupied, and our brochures ran out in no time. While waiting for their turn to try the products, many visitors stood to take notes or snap photos of technical parameters. Our technical team was even busier: one moment they were demonstrating VR operations and applications to visitors, the next two more people were waiting to ask details about the AR optical engine. Before long, they got the hang of “juggling questions”— answering two at once smoothly. Toward the end of the afternoon, as the expo was about to close, some visitors still lingered around the experience zone, saying, “Let’s chat a little more— we’re really interested in your solution, and I have an idea for an application…” They were reluctant to leave, anxious not to miss out on a great opportunity.
Overseas Visitors Make Special Trips: Engaging in In-Depth, Enthusiastic Discussions with Clear Needs "This VR is still too big and heavy for me. I am checking out your solution. Is that for real? Less than 90g?" A client from Europe pulled out their phone, showed us the VR products they had recently seen, and expressed great interest in our solutions. Many professional overseas visitors made a point of finding TOPLITE’s booth. They came with specific application ideas and case studies, asked detailed questions about our VR/AR solutions, and tested the products repeatedly. While language communication took a little time, their strong interest in our solutions was obvious – before leaving, they all made sure to leave their contact information, saying they would definitely follow up after the expo. Their earnest attitude was truly touching.
Media Takes the Initiative to Interview: Cameras Capture the Buzz, Focusing on Solution Highlights During the expo, several professional industry media outlets noticed the buzz around Duopu’s booth and took the initiative to conduct interviews. As soon as the reporters set up their equipment, visitors crowded over to ask questions – sometimes the interviews had to be paused to let our team answer visitors’ inquiries first, creating a lively and authentic scene. Mr. Yin, our Chief Optical Designer, introduced the VR/AR optical design, our solutions, and future application scenarios to the audience through the camera. Beyond that, the media’s cameras captured nothing but bustling crowds and engaged discussions – a clear reflection of everyone’s interest in our VR/AR solutions. One reporter commented, "Your solutions have attracted so many people, which means they truly address the industry’s needs."
The Expo Ends, but New Collaborations Begin As the three-day CIOE comes to a close, the excitement and warmth from TOPLITE’s booth are still resonating – from client holding up their phone to verify if our "90g solution" was real, to the media’s cameras capturing crowds of inquiring visitors, to the guests who refused to leave until closing time to discuss application ideas. Most of all, it’s the look of recognition in everyone’s eyes as they went from curious to convinced by our open-source VR/AR solutions. Beyond our open-source VR/AR optical solutions, the new products we showcased on-site—including drone searchlight modules and industrial-grade UV optical components—also garnered significant attention from clients. The end of the expo marks the start of new collaborations. TOPLITE will carry this recognition forward, continuing to refine our VR/AR optical technology. In the future, we look forward to working with more partners to implement these "lightweight and cost-effective" open-source solutions in more industrial scenarios. See you at the next expo – and hopefully, in future collaborations!
